Göynük is a small resort between Beldibi and Kemer at the foot of the mountains. Its best-known natural attraction is Göynük Canyon, which begins just behind the village; with its cold water, rock pools and walking trails it is a popular spot for hiking and canyoning. All-inclusive hotels and holiday villages line the pebble beaches, while inland, citrus orchards and pine forest keep a village character.
Some hotels in Göynük are on the coastal road, others on side streets leading towards the canyon, so it helps to enter the hotel name and, if possible, the street when booking. If you are bringing bulky items such as canyoning, diving or cycling gear, please mention it in the booking notes so luggage space can be planned in advance.
