Side, in the Manavgat district, is an ancient harbour town built on a small peninsula reaching into the sea. With the columns of the seaside Temple of Apollo, its large ancient theatre, colonnaded street and shops and restaurants set among the ruins, it is one of the region's best-known historic centres. Many hotels line the east and west beaches on either side of the peninsula, with pine-covered Sorgun to the east and Kumköy and Çolaklı to the west.
Side's old town is largely pedestrianised and vehicle access is restricted. If you are staying within the ancient town, your driver will drop you off at the closest point reachable by car. If your hotel is along the beaches, please enter its name; for guesthouses or apartments, add the street name to your booking as well.
From Antalya Airport the drive heads east on the main coastal highway, running past the turn-offs for Belek and through the Serik plain before reaching Manavgat, where you leave the highway for the short road down to Side. It is an easy, mostly straight route; the slowest part is usually the stretch around Manavgat, which gets busy on market days and on summer evenings when day-trippers head back from the river and the waterfall.
Weekends from June to September bring the heaviest airport traffic, as many hotels change guests on Saturdays and Sundays. If your hotel sits on the eastern beach towards Sorgun or out west in Kumköy or Çolaklı, the car can normally pull up at the entrance. For a guesthouse inside the ancient town, expect to walk the last part with your bags, so a wheeled case helps. For your return, leave a comfortable margin on summer weekends rather than relying on the typical drive time.

Short answers about the ride from Antalya Airport to Side.
Plan around 1 h 10 min for the roughly 71 km drive. Rush hour can add minutes, but it never adds euros – the price is set when you book.
You pay per car, not per traveller. One way: Economy €70 (3 passengers), First Class €80 (6 passengers), VIP Sprinter €120 (16 passengers). Tolls, taxes and the name-sign pickup are already inside the price.
It is a taxi you book ahead: a private car just for your group, from Antalya Airport to your door in Side. There is no meter – the price, from €70 per car, is fixed when you book, and luggage or traffic never adds to it.
For Side the biggest option is the VIP Sprinter: up to 16 travellers for €120 one way. The booking form only offers cars that fit your group.
Of course. Tick "Add return" and enter the date and time. The way back costs the same; the cheapest round trip is €140.
