Roughly 44 km, about 45 min on the road. A private car, your name on a sign, and a price that is fixed before you fly.
From Dalaman Airport (DLM) to Ölüdeniz it is roughly 44 km, about 45 min by car. With Trinktaxi the cheapest car is the Economy for up to 3 travellers, from €55 one way; the VIP Sprinter takes up to 16 travellers for €90. You pay the driver the price you booked.

Ölüdeniz is a beach resort at the foot of Babadağ mountain, known for its calm turquoise lagoon and Belcekız Beach. The lagoon is protected as a nature park. Paragliding flights from Babadağ have become the symbol of Ölüdeniz, with pilots usually landing right on the beach. Boats from the beach head to Butterfly Valley, and the first stages of the Lycian Way start in the surrounding area.
If you are bringing your own paragliding or hiking equipment, please mention large bags or cases in the booking notes so a vehicle with enough luggage space can be arranged. Hotels in Ölüdeniz range from the seafront up to the hillsides, so entering the complete hotel name is also important.
The route from Dalaman runs east on the main coastal highway towards Fethiye, passing Göcek through the tunnel that bypasses the town, then skirting the edge of Fethiye. From there the road climbs through Ovacık and Hisarönü, both lined with bars, shops and small hotels, before winding down a series of tight bends to the lagoon. If you are prone to car sickness, take the front seat and let your driver know.
In July and August, and at weekends when many package holidays change over, the airport and the roads around Fethiye get noticeably busier, especially in the afternoon. At the bottom, the promenade behind Belcekız Beach is closed to traffic, so seafront hotels are usually reached from the road behind it, with a short walk for the last stretch. For your return, remember that the climb back up to Hisarönü can be slow behind buses in summer, so do not trim your pickup time.
